Dear Dr. Huber,

When I learned I had advanced gum disease, I was overwhelmed with emotions of fear and guilt.  Dr. Huber and his team helped me understand that it was not my fault and that there was hope.  To be honest, I was skeptical.  I had several loose teeth and always had a mouth full of blood just from brushing my teeth.  I thought it was too late.  Dr. Huber used the laser treatment for removing the buildup under my gums – areas I could not possibly reach with my tooth brush, Waterpik or floss.  The laser is much less invasive than former treatment methods, reduces discomfort, and speeds recovery!  The results were beyond what I imagined possible.  It?s been a year since the laser treatment and my gums are healthy!  No more bleeders and the need to chew gum to mask the offensive breath!  No more fear of what other damage my diseased gums were having on my health.  Just as important, Dr. Huber has helped me understand what is needed to keep my gums and teeth healthy.  I will keep up with my routine of brushing twice daily, flossing and using the Waterpik.  And I will also continue the cleaning schedule that Dr. Huber has prescribed.  Dr. Huber and his staff have such a caring atmosphere ? I feel comfortable there and know that I am among professionals who have partnered with me for success.  I cannot thank them enough for everything they did to give me health gums and teeth and a plan that should keep them that way.  See you for my next cleaning!

Dear Dr. Huber

I would like to thank everyone who participated in the treatment of my periodontal disease.  First, many thanks to my general dentist, Dr. Robert Boyd from Champlain Dental Group who referred me to the most professional & lovely staff (Dr. Huber & his team at Champlain Periodontal).  Unfortunately, in the last 10 years I was given a poor prognosis for the bad disease.  I did start looking for a perfect treatment to keep my teeth in place & was offered the traditional surgical one in Texas, New York & Florida that really scared me.  Searching in the literature & in the Journal of Clinical Periodontology about alternative treatment, laser seems to possess characteristics most suitable for the non-surgical treatment of chronic periodontitis.  Some research has indicated the safety & efficacy of the minimally invasive laser treatment compared with conventional mechanical debridement.  Dr. Huber reassured about the success of this treatment in his experienced hands & two months later I can feel the difference.  It is just amazing.   Finally, I would like to thank his lovely staff who all the time receives & welcomes the patients with a big smile.

My dentists at Fiddlehead referred me to Dr. Huber for a consult concerning two areas that needed implants; one top tooth also needed a bone graft and three other implants needed to be done to fill a large space for my bottom teeth.  My immediate concerns were about cost and pain.  The thought of having the doctor drill into my jaw bone was less than appealing.  Well, none of my concerns turned out to be an issue.  I am currently in year three of a four year plan because I couldn’t afford to do everything at once.  However the payment structure has been accommodating and that concern has been eliminated.

Now, the tooth pulling and graft were different, but really, the aftercare was minimal. The two bottom implants have been a breeze.  If I had realized that filling a space for either my top or bottom teeth was going to be such a snap, I would have stated this process a long time ago.  Of all the different procedures I have had on my teeth over the years, implants are actually the easiest.  The staff is great, informative and I left the office with Dr. Huber’s cell phone number if I needed help.  It is very exciting to actually be able to chew food normally.  If you are on the fence about this procedure, don’t wait like I did.  Times a-wasting………….

Dear Dr. Huber and Staff,

I would like to thank everyone very much for all the help and support you gave me to complete treatment for periodontal disease.

For the first time in years my mouth doesn?t hurt anymore.  I can eat any food I want without worrying about hurtful problems.

When I was referred for further dental work I was frightened.  I had talked to people who have had periodontal work done and found it painful.  During the first appointment I was reassured that a new treatment by laser had replaced the old method.  Treatment didn?t hurt and by following the instructions given after treatment I had no pain or problem while healing.

During my visit yesterday I was told that all was well and to keep up with the cleanings.  I was so happy to know that with proper care I should be just fine.

Technology is changing daily and I am so glad dental matters are keeping up with the trend.  The changes make life so much better for everyone.  Dr. Huber is great!  The staff is well trained with certificates of completion hanging in the rooms.  Everyone is kind and compassionate with patients like me who have had bad experiences in the past.

My next appointment is in six months.  I can truthfully say that I can return with a smile and know that I will be treated well.
